That's how I encouraged my cousin to enagge a certain nairaland chef to cook for his wedding, due to the impressive food pictures she posts here..

The food she cooked for us ended up being a disaster.. Parts of the rice were not done, with excess seasoning, springrolls soaked in oil, among other stuff, despite that online chef collected more than a Million naira to feed 250 wedding guests..

Whoever wants to engage these people for cooking jobs should be careful.. Anyone can be anything online

No need.. Police settled the matter.. She refunded some of the money we paid to her on the agreement we would let the matter die.

I haven't castigated anyone in particular.. Just a heads-up for people to be careful with these online people.

And yes, she dished the food herself and provided her own servers who she insisted we pay separately..

This was despite that online chef collected more than a Million naira to feed 250 wedding guests.. .. We had to have her arrested before she admitted it was her 1st time cooking for a large number of people, hence the bad food.. Till date, Aunty can't explain how meat didn't reach more than half of the guests despite the humongous amount she was paid..

Whoever wants to engage these people for cooking jobs should be careful.. Anyone can be anything online..

This is not Ukodo. A typical Ukodo contains not just unripe plantain but yam also. Ukodo is yam, unripe plantain, goat meat (or substitute like chicken or cow meat or all of them), lemon grass all cooked in peppersoup. All these will make the peppersoup look thick and not watery like the one above. You can simply call this one plantain peppersoup in Delta. Below is picture of Ukodo.
