I'm the only son of my father,although my mum remarried after he died when i was still a toddler so i had a father figure althrough my childhood
Now, i want to continue my father's lineage and dont want to disappoint him wherever he is now by not extending his lineage. I'm in my late 20's and i feel like something might happen to me (you cant rule out death as a reality) so i want to get married and have children on-time, im not that buoyant though but i'm comfy enough to afford some basic things in life.
I need advice on how to go about such situation and can i possibly get married and still scale up the financial ladder?

If you have an understanding lady by your side who is willing to grow with you _ Yes you can.
The only problem here is that I feel your motive for wanting to get married now is not right.

What if something happens to you and your sons in the future and the lineage you're talking about is wiped off completely?

I have come to realize something, when u have a family your spending is channeled towards them and a lot of unnecessary spending will reduce. That simply means that you need more time to establish yourself, marriage is not just something you jump into, you need to be prepared both financially, and you need a woman who share the same dream with you

Your only advise is to make money before you marry. Marry without means of taking care of yourself n the family and extend the suffering from yourself to your wife and kids.

Get married early even if it's just traditional rights. You won't know the joy of raising kids when young until you see you have the energy to run around with them when playing. Don't allow anyone deceive you

Reading through your tale here, I am reminded of the story, some threads over, of a man who went on a trip with his family this past holiday. They all tragically met their end in a car accident. I am talking father and all his kids and wife. Just me thinking out loud is all!

bro i understand ur point, since you can take care of basic needs according to u that means u have a steady source of income , then start a family what are u waiting for. But u need an understanding lady but they are not very easy to come by. U can't see them easily especially among this our so called modern day gals, wey be say all they want is already made men with flashy car and good apartment to marry them.

But don't forget to pray to God about it for direction, God could guide your heart to a reasonable and understanding gal. You might be favored with the one that has something doing already, or the one that loves business that wants to do something to assist the family, you are favored.

I think you need to trace the route if uoir biological father is let them know about you and you have to establish a relationship with them and if truly you want to continue the lineage of your father

Then the issue of marriage is, when you get a woman you want to marry, let her know the situation on ground and both of you can work towards a successful family building

Ask your mom why your dad died early. who knows you are about making that same mistake.
