But my late father in law, a king in the SW, had a son 2 months after my own son was born. Wify use 24 years take senior the boy, the older sister take 33 years take senior the boy.
So your logic could be right or wrong. grin

A 25 year old girl cannot have a sibling of 4 years old. At least not in Nigeria where couples use the first 8-12 years of their marriage for child bearing.

Also, most Nigerian parents give their children a spacing of about 2-3 years.

This means that if she's the first born and she's 25, and has 5 siblings which were given 2-3 years spacing by their parents, the youngest sibling shouldn't be less than 15.

A 4 year old child in that house cannot be her direct sibling...The Gap is just too much.

This your analysis is so wrong, 1 - 1year 9months is the average spacing in most Nigerian homes but I have seen several cases where after giving birth to the last child, 14years to 20years later, a child happened especially for couples who started early. I don't enjoy typing much, would have done a comprehensive writeup. It's very possible for a 25year old to have a 4year old sibling.

I used 2-3 years in case of irregularities. I know the average spacing isn't up to 2 years.

@bolded.
It's almost impossible...let's look at it logically.

If the man got married at 33, and his wife was 25, and they had the girl (their first child) the following year. This means that the wife would be 26 when her daughter is celebrating her first birthday.

And by the time that daughter clocks 25, the mom would be 51. So if there's a 4 year old child in that house, it means that her mom had that child at the age of 47.

How many 47 year old women in Nigeria still give birth? That's if at all she's even menstruating.

The chances of the 4 year old belonging to any of her siblings is possibly and might not even be hers.
But since you both are in a relationship, you should be able to asks some questions no matter how offensive you may think it will sound.

She might just be honest with you and tell you it's her child

At the bolded, it is rare but it happens, therefore, you and Op are wrong in your assumptions

This past weekend, my younger sister got married to a last born son of the family, his immediate elder sister is older than him for 20 years, his other older siblings have 2 years gap between them and they are five in number, his parents got married when they were teenagers.

It's possible if the dad remarried/got a second wife.
