Pastors Highest Currency Denomination SCAM Exposed! by Nobody: 4:51pm On Sep 04, 2011
Today during service this visiting pastor from Nigeria asked all of us to bring out the highest currency denomination we have with us so that we can prophesy on it, after we have finished prophesying that the money in our hand will start working for us, I was surprised when he asked us to place it on the alter for him, everyone did, as I was on my way to drop my money which I have replace with a lower currency denomination, the Lord quickly reminded me this is another con and I quickly went back to my seat with out dropping my money for this con pastor. These pastors are getting more desperate.

On getting back home from this church where this SCAM took place, someone I have not spoken to for a while came and told me that I can reclaim the payment protection insurance I took out some years back which is a large sum of money.
Now do you all see how satan works, if I had handed over the highest currency denomination to this FALSE pastor then satan would have made me believe that, this SCAM was the reason someone came to tell me I can claim back this large sum of money.

I pray the Lord will open the minds of all those that these FALSE pastors are deceiving so that they can be set free.

2 Corinthians 9:7
Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

@joagbaje
Don't tell me you also practise this highest denomination fraud on your muguns. The scam is so cheap and so easy to see thru it that it must take a really brain dead or hypnotised person to fall for it.

Cheap and easy as this scam is, it still works!

See your umbelief, did the visiting pastor ask for the money for himself? That means you don't even give offerings again. Since your not sure where it goes .

And who's to blame for this possible future lack of generosity in dishing out money in church on the part of the OP?
And I say possible.
You, Joagbaje, assume the OP won't be generous again.

I say the scammer who tried that old trick on the congregation is to blame.
The OP would be wise to spend his money on his children's education and his parent's old age comforts.

Today during service this visiting pastor from Nigeria asked all of us to bring out the highest £££ denomination we have with us so that we can prophesy on it, after we have finished prophesying that the money in our hand will start working for us, I was surprised when he asked us to place it on the alter for him, everyone did, as I was on my way to drop my money the holy spirit quickly reminded me this is another con and I quickly went back to my seat. I find this story hard to believe, what are you doing in a church where your pastor  invites a preacher you call a con to preach,are you saying your PST is a fraud ,if he is what are you doing there. Very untrue story, even if it's true,and you went back with your money it's your business, it does not change the fact that the others were blessed
Re: Pastors Highest Currency Denomination SCAM Exposed! by PA1982(f): 7:23pm On Sep 04, 2011
You mean, the others put their money on the altar.
Do you really believe you can buy a blessing?

How did you do it? Others must have looked at you strangely if you were wandering towards the altar and suddenly turned back. Also, what did the holy spirit sound like?

The Holy Spirit gave me the wisdom to know that this visiting pastor is a fraud, if he had asked for freewill offering, then there is nothing wrong with it. The action of this visiting pastor did not allow the church to collect the normal offering as most people had given all they had to the visiting pastor who is a conman.

@OP

Azibalua appears to be Pastor JoAgbaje's feminine side,

I haven't witnessed the highest denomination fraud in person but I have seen the "God told me some people will bless the Church with $5,000, $2,000. $1,000, $500, etc " SCAM by a "visiting Pastor/minister"

Only God can and will save us from the fake "mogs" masquerading as true Shepherds.

I concur, most of us have to go to Church these days with a FILTER because these new age "MOGs" are skilled orators, we have to remember the examples set by the good people of Berea and check everything before buying it as the Gospel of Christ.

Jesus knew what he was getting us into hence he admonished us " Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."

Possibly, queensmith, but the point is that congregations can be fleeced by the unscrupulous.
And it happens all the time, as we all know.

The world is fed up of these money hungry pastors prostituting the Good News of Jesus Christ with their dirty, filthy get rich quick gospel SCAM.

This highest denimination scam is just one of the many scams avaliable to pastors today, Here are some more;

*The wave your offering scam: This is where the pastors askes the members to hold up their offering visibly for God to see it (as against crumpling it and hiding it in the palm of your hands). How this scam works is it plays on the ego of the members who wouldnt want to be seen waiving a #10 or #50 bill, So what you would realize is that a large percent have been coaxed into parting with the highest denominations in their pockets with the less priviledged holding up atleast a #100 bill.

*Mystery of Numbers Scam: This scam has been used by atleast 9 in every 10pastors. This scam is based on the so-called biblical/spiritual mystery associated with numbers, Lets take 5 for example. The pastor would read a passage from the bible that had to do with 5, e.g the 5 bread and 2 fisjes Jesus allegedly used to feed the multitude. The Pastor would then say 5 is the number of increase and ask members to give offerings with the number 5 written on it , Now people would start putting in #50 and #500 bills, Same thing with 7 which they say is the number of perfection (I dont know what scripture they use to back that up), and 12 the number of , (12 tribes of Isreal, ) etc

*The Widows mite scam:: This is scam works well with the Big name preachers who are renowed for their miracles, The pastor would almost always use these words in this scam "Challange God" or "Give an offering that would move the heart and hand of God". The pastor then asks the congregation to part with everything cent on their person and watch the miracle start occuring instantanously, This scam is backed with the story from the Bible about the widow who fed Elijah with the last portion of meal she had and how she was rewarded bountifully,

*The seed faith scam:: Also very popular amongst preachers today. In this scam, you are asked to give a sizable offering as a "seed" to move God to speedily grant you your request. The seed faith scam is so good because it fleeces unsuspecting members of not just the cash they are carrying on their person, but also goes straight to their accounts as people tend to write cheques for this kind of offering,

*The building offering scam:: Virtually every church except the othordox churches take this building offering. Its said that if you build the house of God, he would also build yours, lol. Genuis!

And the list goes on and on and on,

I have just added this to my first post that on my way to drop my money for this con pastor before making my way back to my seat without dropping it for this con pastor, I had already replaced the highest currency denomination I had with a lower currency denomination.

I believe it was the Holy Spirit that God used to remind me of all the post on Nairaland and other websites that pastors like this one is conman.

you eventually fell for the scam nonetheless. why? FEAR? or afraid of shame? The holy spirit would have told you not to even drop any money. you talked to yourself to choose what you thought was right and not any holy spirit.

The money collected was not for the pastor, its for the church. Why call the pastor a fraud? That prayer might be from the leading of the holyspirit.
