My advice for every serious accountant is to start their accounting journey at a small or medium sized accounting firm. Money is good, but the experience is very important. Practicing in a small or medium accounting firm will expose you to a lot of areas that would definitely come in handy as you climb up the ladder.

My advice for every serious accountant is to start their accounting journey at a small or medium sized accounting firm. Money is good, but the experience is very important. Practicing in a small or medium accounting firm will expose you to a lot of areas that would definitely come in handy as you climb up the ladder. Close your eyes and ignore the little remuneration for about 6 months, afterwards, the sky will be your starting point. I can assure you of this.

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development and guest satisfaction.
Excellent communication abilities, including proficiency in English and the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
Working knowledge of hotel management software, reservation systems, and point-of-sale platforms.
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make informed decisions under pressure.
Understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting and cost control.
Certification or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
