Don't be deceived, the responsibility for maintaining super health lies ultimately with you.

YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! Not your Doctor’s!

We get a lot of people confused and saying, but my Doctor said hypertension is a lifelong sentence, so that means there is nothing I can do to make it better.

Meanwhile another healthcare professional says, I can control my blood pressure a lot better, if I work on it.

Who should I believe? Our answer is #BelieveNoOne.

Lol

But seriously,

Instead of getting fixated on 'who is right', focus on improving the quality of your life based on everything that is available to you at this moment. Because ultimately, when elephants fight....it is the grass that suffers! ‘

How to choose your #BestControlStrategy,

Abi.

Some people are funny. When I look at some really fat people, I just said to myself. The reason why you're fat is because you live in a time where you don't have to run from your farm because of a tiger ambush.

Predators by default targets the old, the sick, the young, the fat, or deformed, since they will be of little difficulty to hunt. Fat folks are lucky, this ain't 17th century anymore.

You can use Uber, order food online, and enjoy the comfort of modernity. The system is basically your lifeline, and when war happens and you have to walk from Lagos to Accra as a refugee, death awaits you.

How can one make themselves so weak? Your body is your temple. And one can't have a strong mind, without a strong body. It's impossible. I can tell how responsible a person is just by their weight.

Your weight is one thing you can't blame the economy, Buhari, your parents, or any scapegoat on. It's your sole responsibility to be healthy, and it's cheaper to be healthy if you know your way around food.

What if you have to run to save yourself? I know how many time just being fit have saved me from problem. An example was when I lost my wallet on my way home, and don't have my cards to buy train tickets.

I entered the train without a ticket and was watching like a thief to avoid being caught. I was lucky to reach my final destination but as I was getting out of the check out gate, the ticket conductors blocked me.

Asked for my tickets and I start pretending like I wanted to bring it out of my pocket, while calculating how to escape their grip. Ten seconds later when they notice I'm playing an act, they tightened their defense and I said to myself, it's now or never.

These idiots began calling police since they also asked for ID, which was also lost in the wallet. Then I dashed. As in, if any sport scientist could calculate my speed then, ill be faster than usain bolt.

They were two tall, fit guys. They chased me for like 30 seconds, then they realised I was so fast, and they tuned back. God knows I was dead scared, and only my legs could save me that day.

See as two white men they chase one black boy for street. People just de pause to watch. A classical police and thief scenario grin

Another one would be when I was hanging out with a bunch of student who were smoking weed, making noise and the neighbour called the police unknowingly to us. When they arrived, one of the guy noticed and zoomed off.

We all saw the zoom, then follow suit. Omo, see run. They caught the girls with us, and some of the guys, and of course all the fat or unfit guys we're whisked off to police station. Thank God they were random dudes who didn't know my house, I for enter wahala that day.

So aunty poster, I agree with you. Health is an individual responsibility.
