Your Nissan V6 cannot be 4 cylinders.
If you burn 4 liters to one kilo, then your vehicle is very faulty, it must be blowing black smoke when you rev it, ie running rich.
Check issues such mass air flow, oxygen sensor, blocked catalyst, worn plugs, dirty injectors etc. In short go scan the car.

My car does average of 27miles per gallon. That’s how it reads for me. Converting to metric figures will give roughly 11km/ltr.

Modified: Image was m while traveling from Gombe to Jos. Was just about 30km to Jos and took the reading.

Which normal car can do 12kms on 1 litre? You think 10km on a litre is even easy? And city driving even gulps more fuel than highway.

Mine, 2010 Peugeot 407, 2.2L, i4.
9.4 litres per 100km, full tank=66ltrs, which can take me 700km range.

I have not duly calculated but my full tank took me from Abuja to Ibadan and I still had fuel left to do a little run around within Ibadan before top-up
