Top 8 Reasons To Overlook Cheap Properties. by Schoolguy9(m): 8:11am On Jan 17, 2023
It might not be a popular opinion though, because people actually like cheap things but when matters of longevity are concerned, such a mindset should be jettisoned.

Here are top 8 reasons to select properties that suit your taste rather than cheap ones:

1. Location
One thing you must know is that most cheap properties are located in scarcely populated areas! Though, it is not always the case, you will chime in with me that this is mostly the case because people in built-up areas know the worth of their money and wouldn't go for anything less.

2. Personality.
At times, where you live says a lot about who you are! Forget about cheap things when you have a taste for luxury. Because we don't even know who is who, it is good to buy properties in areas where you can be recognized irrespective of the price.

3. Counterfeit.
Let's not argue it, people who live in rural areas can accept anything! Even the same types of design. If you need something unique and worthwhile, consider saving up more!

4. Authenticity
When you buy land in an expensive environment, you won't joke with your documents. In some cases, the price for making survey plans are up to N300k and that is an amount of money that you can just add something to and buy a plot in some local areas! But then, if you know what you actually want, you can go for it.

In essence, make sure that the documents you receive on your landed properties are actually authentic because you can't joke with huge sums of money unlike in the case of cheap properties where you can easily let things slide by.

5. Alliance.
When you come into a neighborhood, you become a neighbour! Though, it is not a must to mingle, those you move with matter! Every estate is like a mini city where you meet people everyday. To avoid being in the midst of people you wouldn't like to associate with, find lands in better areas irrespective of the prices.

6. Serenity
For the sanity of your mind and for the security of your family members, buy lands in a place where you can have a say in everything that concerns you! Of course, every person who buys land in a lowlife environment might want to keep quiet while others are talking. Always go for the best!

7. Your money's worth.
At times, you pay huge sums of money and still don't get what you want! This is because you didn't go to the right people! When inspecting properties, shine your eyes. In fact, if you cannot do the site visitations yourself, pay someone to do it because you can afford it rather than regretting later!

8. Support.
When you call, the person you are doing business with answers because huge amount of money is involved! I am not talking about preferential treatment here but naturally, some people like to go after some big fishes rather than crumbs. When buying land in an expensive area, you will receive much attention and when anything happens in the future (God forbid!), you will solicit support and find it because you have followed due process.

I am able to decipher that we have come to terms with the fact that these 8 reasons are enough to make you let go of cheap properties or even free things because, in actuality, nothing is free!!!

Some people would like to add, "Even in Freetown." That I know, for sure.
