The Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has likened Peter Obi’s Labour Party to Andrews Liver Salt–a laxative medication. Andrews Liver Salts is a brand of Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid and Magnesium Sulphate. Andrews acts as an antacid and laxative to relieve one of heartburn, indigestion and constipation symptoms. It’s been commonly used in Nigeria for many decades to relieve stomach problems. Speaking at the Chatham House, a UK policy think-tank recently, Kwankwaso said the Labour Party is the creation of the media, and its supposed gains would soon fizzle out. “If you have a party which is based on ethnicity and religion…that’s the difference between Labour and our party which is a national party.
