First, I don't seem to get why they always break out into a dance in their movies. It's fuc**k**ing annoying.

Secondly I don't know why their women go around with those red dots on their forehead, feels like I'm being videoed...

I have spent some time in India, so I know the ancient land like the back of my hand.

To your first question, not all Indian movies have dance scenes in them. And the ones who have include dance scenes because viewers have often demanded them. I don't like the dance scenes either. But dance is an integral part of performance art.

To your second question, the red dot on the forehead is called bindi. It is not only women that wear bindi. Men wear it too. People wear bindi for different reasons, including religious or ornamental.

Religious wise, the bindi represents the third eye. That is why it is placed on the forehead where it is believed that our third eye is.

Anyone can wear a bindi (the red dot).

Babies, men, maidens, married women. Anyone can wear a bindi. I wore a bindi in my time in India. And I am a man.

You would expect that Indian actors like in other countries have thriller, musical and scary movies. But the ones that have high foreign demand are musicals.

This is one thing I'm surprised Nollywood has never replicated. Then again our epic movie actors hate anything concerning exercise. The new Nollywood is more exciting, but those ones are more focused on love and modern Nigerian problems. Our people don't find those entertaining.

I think they're just infusing their movies with their cultural beliefs like any other movies from other countries.

For example, Nigerian movies like using black magic, while most South African movies are crime movies.
