A father of two has been killed after greeting a member of a rival cult group the wrong way.

According to FIJ, Nonso Okoye was killed by some cultists believed to be members of the confraternity in Anambra state.

The report added that Okoye was believed to be a member of the rival Vikings confraternity at the time of his death.

A source, who asked not to be named, told FIJ that Okoye was shot on January 8, 2023, for “imitating the greeting pattern of the confraternity” while greeting a friend.

I remember one day in ibadan, I was on a j.o.b with a couple of people, and then gist bring gist nah so one friend of mine come look me then he come begin wine me next thing, baba raise hand come to knack egede and God knows, me no even know when I raise hand recieved am in public... The guy come look me eye to eye come smile, mind you I am a bloody ignorant JU man ... That smile stuck in my mind becasue they were like 6 men and I only knew one .. the guy wey come knack egede.

Now we all were to stay the night in a challete, Omo that night I no fit sleep I just dey ask myself wetin make me knack that egede self... Because I saw one of the men bring something in from his car which he wrapped in a towel .. I had an uneasy feeling. .. but ultimately my looks alone will naturally put the fear of God in anyone so I just kept the act up and remained in beast mode all night... God knows if they wanted to check me for the handshake, there is nothing I could have done but collect the treatment... But I thank God.

I will NEVER try it again !!!! NEVER!!!
