Riff raff CBN, why can't you go after those that refused to pay back the billions of naira loan funds you sunk into Rice farming, yet rice- a staple foods -becomes the costliest in the market under your nose and under your fake agricultural interventions. Hell no, it's the grossly battered hard working citizens, who created something from nothing, the survivalist who created hope from the hellish state of joblessness that you will persistently cultivate and masturbate over to ground and exterminate them. Only riffy raffy policy u sabi do. 3 Likes |

Operating a commercial bank in Nigeria is a huge loss. They give you loan and collect simple interest. If they operate a compound interest, the rate will be in per day and not per anum. They are seeing a huge migration of customers to business/microfinance banks in droves and they are not happy about it. I have not renewed my ATM Cards from 4 different banks. Just transfer the money I want to use to the one that has ATM card when I need to and save myself from Quarterly Card Maintenance charges and renewal charges. More harm is coming to The Federal Government and the Central bank if they don't introduce a working digital currency that is tied to something that appreciates in value higher than interest rates given by banks so that citizens can buy into it while the real money remain in the hands of the government and not this sham called eNaira. The owners of Digital currency owns more or close to 50% of US Dollars and that is a problem. If Someone develop something that works in Nigeria, The Nations currency is going to be in the hands of unknown individuals because more people are going to put their money in it with hopes of getting something meaningful out of it. This means no money for banks and other businesses, and if it is created by people with destructive mindset, new era of terror might be birthed. Nigeria need a digital currency owned and controlled by the federal government. If they succeed in this, they won't be selling all this government bonds again. |

EyezofGod120: Don't mind the blindfolded people! - this CBN,like NNPC that can't dispense fuel to the crying Masses, despite Nigeria being an oil producing nation, should be ashamed by now! - Most of those in Office, care less about the suffering population,so if I need N20,000.must I go and que in a 4- kilometres where the banks are located? - where was CBN when the POS Business began to expand to the delights of Nigerians? - We don't need a kiosk' if the Pos Operators are trustworthy' and efficient' .e g I'm on Okada and I know Mama Chinedu well,I can just park and ask for the money and move on so,why should I go to que up in the banking hall that takes next 2- hours? - Why is CBN Officials blaming the POS ,for their Cashless Policy, when they are the very ones undermining the Policy? Anyway, most of the CBN Officials have more POS of their own! Please, make Una park somewhere else! 1 Like |

MEGA4BILLION: I’m not sure of this sir. Banks are more comfortable and make more money from POS than from ATM. The workload inside the bank and at the ATM is slashed by over 50% for the bank. These banks have committees to encourage pos operators. They give them targets, then commission and awards. I know of this. In fact, I think it’s the CBN that forces banks to maintain a certain number of ATM. What the CBN is saying is that to be a pos operator, get a shop with a verified address so you and your customers will be well monitored. A lot has been happening in this pos business these days. 2 Likes 1 Share |
