Redesigned Naira Notes And The 31st Of January Deadline by MrOlai: 12:31pm On Jan 29, 2023
Good day everyone. I want a clarification on something on this issue.

I was at a newspaper stand few days ago and people were discussing about the redesigned Naira notes and the 31st of January deadline given by President Buhari and the CBN governor.

Some things caught my attention.

Some of the people there said President Buhari is angry with Bola Tinubu. They said the following:

1. That during APC primary election, Buhari nominated Lawan as the presidential flag bearer and directed all the northern governors and delegates to vote for Lawan. They said the northern governors and delegates felt that would be a betrayal to Bola Tinubu for all his efforts in bringing Buhari to power.

So, the northern governors and the delegates shunned him and voted for Bola Tinubu as a form of appreciation. They said that this really pained Buhari and he decided to deal with Bola Tinubu in the coming election. Hence, the redesigned Naira notes and the lingering fuel crisis.

2. That President Buhari did not do all these when he was campaigning for his re-election in 2019. Why now?

3. That the kind of fuel crisis we're experiencing now had never happened for the past 7 years since Buhari became the president. Why now that the election is around the corner?

4. On the hardships Nigerians are facing because of these, one of the people discussing said what President Buhari is doing is like someone who wants to killed a rat in his house and decides to put fire everywhere in the house in order to kill the rat.

I'm confused because I have a different perspective on the issue especially the redesigned Naira notes. I want more clarification on this.

Buhari Reelection in 2015?

I guess it's a typo but all those story of fight doesn't concern Nigerians.

We already see all APC aspirants as one.

The only thing that's overt is that there is something Tinubu is using as Blackmail.

That thing we'd know when Tinubu loses by February 25.
