Yhemolee has shared the strange way fast-rising Nigerian musician, Asake got into the university. Yhemolee shared during a chat with Taymesan on his Tea With Tay’ Podcast that Asake didn’t join their group of friends by being a student of Obafemi Awolowo University. According to him, Asake did not write any exams to gain admission into OAU but was brought into the school by a guy named Lala, who is currently a Nollywood actor. Yhemolee claimed that Lala was in the Performing Arts department and that Asake somehow became a student of the department because he could beat drums.
