The tape was a product of strategy meeting between Tinubu and selected members of his media handlers. During the meeting, Tinubu accused his media handlers of not doing enough on propaganda. “Do you not see what Dino and Reno are doing. This is campign time and not the time to look at ethics or morality”, Tinubu charged them.

At this juncture, the media team requested a break of 20 minutes to allow them reply Tinubu as, according to them, “Time is of essence.”

They then came up with the idea of doing a documentary on Obi around the allegation usually leveled against him by his political opponents. They said that the plan was to associate him with those allegations as if they were true.

The elated Tinubu immediately released a huge sum (N500 million) to them for the project.

Baring last minutes delay, the tape would be released to the public as part of the de-marketing of Obi that usually occupy the first item on the agenda whenever Tinubu meets his media handlers.

These are desperate times for a team sinking deeper by the day.
