AKERMAS ENERGY LIMITED IS RECRUITING RESERVOIR ENGINEER – SENIOR, MID LEVEL AND JUNIOR CONSULTANT

INTRODUCTION
Akermas Energy is an indigenous company incorporated to deliver value added services to her clients. We aim at providing engineering and integrated solutions in developing new facilities, and highly conversant with classification rules & other standards and codes for Oil and Gas.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Inspecting the structural integrity of reservoirs, including reviewing water quality samples and inspecting for construction defects or damage due to natural disasters
2. Developing computer models to track water supply and demand to ensure that the reservoir can meet future needs.
3. Conducting tests on new designs to ensure that they meet safety standards or are structurally sound.
4. Evaluating water quality in reservoirs to detect contamination by harmful bacteria or other pathogens.
5. Monitoring the status of equipment located at the reservoir site, such as pumps or valves.
6. Coordinating with other engineers to ensure that designs meet construction requirements.
7. Consulting with local government agencies to help plan for future growth in population or industrial activity.
8. Evaluating new technologies related to water storage and purification to determine if they are suitable for use at existing facilities.
9. Preparing reports on findings and recommendations for further action.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, and able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety in the workplace.

Senior Consultant
1. Should have worked for a Multinational or Independent or National operator or an oil servicing company.
2. Should have advanced skills in analytical reservoir engineering techniques and be able to apply them to existing and new field development.
3. Should possess strong understanding of reservoir engineering modelling with both numerical analysis and material balance. Conduct history matching to validate reservoir models.
4. Should be experienced in reserves classification, evaluation and should be able to take lead role in official reporting end of year reserves.
5. Should have experience in the design of fluid sampling programs in conjunction with vendors. Should be able to monitor third party PVT analysis, validate and approve.
6. Should have experience with the design, interpretation and analysis of DST/RFT/MDT programs
7. Should be able to provide short term, medium term and long-term production forecasts.
8. Supervises, mentors, motivates and competently develops junior technical staffs.
9. Specialization in field development.
10. BSc Engineering & COREN.
11. Above 15 years of experience.

Mid-Level Consultant
1. Should have worked for a Multinational or Independent or National operator or an oil servicing company.
2. Should have skills in analytical reservoir engineering techniques and be able to apply them to existing and new field development.
3. Ability to understand reservoir engineering modelling with both numerical analysis and material balance. Conduct history matching to validate reservoir models.
4. Proficient working knowledge and use of OFM, well testing, PVT and numerical simulation software is required.
5. Should be able to direct surveillance activities, MER testing, BHP surveys in line Government statutory regulations.
6. Should be able to provide short term, medium term and long term production forecasts
7. Mentors, motivates, and competently develops junior technical staffs.
8. Specialization in field development.
9. BSc Engineering & COREN.
6. 5 to 15 years experience.

Junior Consultant
1. Should be able to collate technical data and interpret with recommendations.
2. 2. Working Knowledge of material balance, OFM, well testing, PVT and numerical simulation software expertise
3. 3. Should be able to provide reservoir engineering input into ATDs
4. 4. Should be able to provide support during MER testing, BHP campaigns and interpretation of data
5. 2 to 5 years of experience.
6. Specialization in field development.
7. BSc Engineering & COREN.
