You bring original documents for screening. The only photocopies will be the email invite letter, portal slip and personal statement or Research proposal as applicable.

In 2020, some people who were already in Germany and different other countries as ptdf scholars abandoned their scholarship and returned to Nigeria after they got shortlisted for NNPC graduate trainee.

There's nothing special about ptdf. It's just a scholarship.

I know a guy that's currently working in UK now, another is a lecturer. They left as PTDF scholars

If someone is already in Imperial college London, I don't see how a ptdf scholarship is going to move the needle further for such a person.

if the person is doing a masters and wants to do a PhD, they will apply for the scholarship

However there was virtual option last year so I don't see why anyone would waste money to travel down solely for the PTDF interview, perhaps they had other things they travelled for and used one stone to kill two or more birds
