He said; Government at all levels are busy recognising people with lesser track-records while deliberately failing to acknowledge the meaningful contributions made by notable Nollywood stars.“Can you imagine the government is busy recognising riff-raffs? Will they honour me when I’m no more like my colleague and friend, Sam Loco? It’s unfair. We deserve to be honoured during our lifetime. Despite the contribution i have made towards the development of the nation’s entertainment industry, the government has refused to honour people like me What contributions have you made and what kind of honour would be befitting? Government nefa pay Babangidda, e come be you. Please, go and prepare for your retirement. When you quench, the government will 'honour' you. Only DEAD people are honoured, when their worths can be measured quantifiably. Sorry sir. You need to stop drinking too! |
