Hello nairalanders, this question has been popping through my mind off lately especially with the wind of election blowing around. I want to understand something, what will be the outcome if a candidate steps down for another candidate? Let's say candidate A decides to step down for candidate B and collapse structure into candidate B's party 1. Will candidate A or his party still be in the ballot? Because I want to believe INEC has printed and distributed the election material to various PU. 2. Will A's vote be counted as B's vote (in the case that he's name/party logo are still on the ballot 🗳️ 3. What will become of those who are contesting under the party when candidate A collapsed it structured into another. I have been having confuse thought over this for a very long time now. Nairaland political analyst/science experts pls help me out. |
