My brother has been to JUTH since last week, they wrote a test that we are supposed to have done since last week and up till now the tests has not been carried out because JUTH refused to accept electronic transfer and we are unableable to get cash since JUTH insisted that payment must be made in cash.
Lawyers in the house any help?

Nothing wrong in suing

What is your expected outcome or endgame
What is the best case scenario if you win?
What do you have in mind?
If you approach the court what remedy will you ask for.
You have to be clear and specific in your prayers to the court?

My brother

No need sueing them because no federal agency or department operates a deposit money bank account anymore since the advent of the Treasury single account (TSA).

This was originally to curb corruption but now having a deleterious unintended consequence.

I pay for my practising license and annual retention fee to federal government through Remita which was started during the onset of the Treasury Single account.

UNN, UNTH, UNIZIK all get payments to the TSA through Remita. You can use your ATM to pay through Remita. That had been the norm for many years now. JUTH should be able to accept Remita.

There should be regulatory bodies where these unscrupulous organizations can be reported to and dealt with appropriately. Lawsuit can be time consuming and can swing either way.

Federal Hospitals are entitled to a percentage of their IGR as running cost.

If these monies are payed via Remita into the TSA, then where will the hospital get money to buy diesel and print investigation forms and continuation sheets or even mow the grass in the compound.

Post it on Twitter and make it go viral, JUTH management would come online to try to mitigate the backlash by saying they accept transfers.

That is very commendable from the hospital, when TINUBU spoke about fuel scarcity and lack of new Naira notes availability to people. People misinterpret it in to hateful manner. As if TINUBU will queue in a banking hall or in fuel station to buy fuel or make transfer
