As we all know, Edo state is at the very front of the Peter Obi movement, the wave is very strong there but many people don't know that's just the urban part of the state, that is Edo south (Benin city)..

Let's take a look at the other local governments in Edo state and who will likely win it..

First of : Edo south

Labour party might narrowly win here but it will be tightly contested, my predictions

Labour party will get 40% in ikpoba okha, Egor, oredo and Uhunmwode while APC and PDP will share the rest

Orhionmwon, ovia north and ovia south west will be won be APC with 40%, PDP will come second and LP will take the rest

This is a PDP stronghold right from time, so I still think they will win here though mercy Johnson husband has been making inroad in this place and many political bigwigs are plotting to get APC into power..

Though labour party is also making waves here but it's not like in Edo south..

So my predictions

Online will only make things look strange and tell stories from just one side, nevertheless we are close the election day we will all witnesses a deferent system of leadership from no other people than Mr Peter Obi.

Labour party haven't really made any inroad here, they should improve in this senatorial District since they have the second most popular after Edo south

Where we will get redemption is Oshiomhole's Edo North and Orhionwon axis of Edo South. The margin of victory in each zone and how they perform in other zones behind the winner will determine who wins Edo State. Edo is far more complicated than Obidients are seeing. Another point you didn't raise is that, the Dan Orbih faction of the pdp is silently working for Tinubu in Edo State. There's practically no resistance to oshiomhole in Edo north because Dan Orbih faction is with them. Philip shaibu is struggling to stay afloat. There's no labour party in Edo north at all.

Nobody should be shocked if Edo State result turns out to be against their expected prediction. LP has eaten up pdp strongholds in Edo State and the party is divided into two factions. For me, it's between LP and APC in Edo for presidential election.
