You are not the first person to say this. The manual in the car is dated 2012. The car is registered as 2013.

1. 2013 has a clock on the dashboard, while 2012 has its own below AC control knobs.

2. The rear lights are of the same length (as in the part on the body and that on the trunk cover).

These are the ones I was able to notice.

However, there's a white label by the drivers door, it carries the year of the car, if you check, you'd see 2012.

Check the first image that debunks your tail light description for the SA 2013. I understand alot of people confuse American or Asian models.

The second image is the VIN label by the driver's door. No year there, typical with most models not built in North America.

This car was bought by a bank. So do you expect their supplier to make this kind of mistake?

Lastly, see a Youtube review of this exact model from a South African reviewer. Video was posted May 2013.
