Let's face it. Tinubu has no wide appeal even as a regional politician, but he found a loophole in 2014. That loophole was Buhari, a man who had been contesting elections for decades. Tinubu had a vision. That vision was what he could accomplish through an alliance with Buhari if they could grab power. The sinister plan was to let Buhari rule for 8 years and hand over to Tinubu. After Tinubu's 8, another Fulani would take over, effectively rotating power between the Yoruba in the west and the Fulani in the North while excluding the rest of the country.

Tinubu is aware that inclusivity is not a highpoint of the Nigerian constitution. He's also aware that exclusion is already practiced at state level in states like Benue and Kaduna where only the Tivs and Muslims respectively have monopoly of power. So they stretched their imagination. If they could rotate power between the FULANI - YORUBA alliance, the possibility is that they could keep power permanently in the hands of Muslims.

Why do you think Mr El Rufai is frenetically working for Tinubu's Muslim-Muslim ticket? He has a point to prove. If it can work in Kaduna, it can work in Nigeria to permanently push the Christians to the periphery. The hordes of hell are marching but you can cut them short with your vote.
