Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for attending the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally in Imo state.

He also urged Nigerians to troop out enmasse to vote for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate in next week's presidential election.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Sanwo-Olu said despite our tribal differences, Nigeria remains a united indivisible nation.

"Earlier today, at the APC Presidential rally in Owerri,
Imo State, I urged my Ndigbo Fathers, Mothers, Sisters and Brothers to help bring our “Renewed Hope” mantra to fruition, by coming out en masse to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in next week's presidential election, as well as all the APC candidates contesting in the forthcoming general elections".

"Despite our tribal differences, we are all one and the same, because when it comes to the welfare of our dear country and its people, we speak the same language.I therefore thank the good people of Imo State for coming out today to show their support".

"Thank you Mr. President, H.E Muhammadu Buhari for keeping to your word that you will join us on the campaign train in all of the regional states in the country".

Thank you to my great Igbo people, thank you all APC executives and Governors.

"Now let’s go out on Saturday, February 25th, and bring about a renewed hope under the hope of Imo State into the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. God bless you all".
