BREAKING: El-Rufai, Yahaya Bello storm Supreme Court over naira scarcity

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, and his Kogi State counterpart, Yahaya Bello, have arrived at the Supreme Court to monitor proceedings in a suit their states filed against the Federal Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on the Cashless Policy Regime.


The two governors arrived in the courtroom around 8:30 am in the company of their supporters and top government officials.

The Federal Government is expected to engage in a legal battle with three states challenging the implementation of the Cashless Policy Regime introduced by the CBN.

When will you people realize that the APC is playing a mind game with Nigerians?

They are only creating a situation that makes Buhari appear cruel to people, while Tinubu is seen to be in support of the people.

Or how will you explain why the President is executing a policy that will undermine the success of his party at the poll while also supporting the flagbearer of the same party.

Forget all the noise, there's no rancor whatsoever within the APC, particularly between Emefiele and Tinubu... All na planned work.

And Tinubu will definitely get sympathy votes if things continue like this. Also, this policy will be counterproductive as it will make more people vulnerable to vote buying.

Buhari is not apolitical party man. To Buhari, his ethnicity or tribe comes ist before any other interest..
Do you know that Buhari doesn't belive in Fed character?, If not that constitution mandated him to pick ministers across all states, some states will end up without a minister..
Buhari is not a political party man and hates federal character..
To make it clearer for you, we were thinking that the so called anointed candidate was Osibanjo or Amechi because it's expected that power should come to the south, behold we recently found out that the so called anointed candidate was even another northern Muslim in the name of Lawan..

Kemi adeosun was removed as a minister, it's expected that someone from Ogun should replace her position or someone from south West, but No, Buhari replaced her with a northern Muslim leaving Ogun space vacant, with excuse that Ogun misused their slot..

During Jonathan's time, he removed some ministers and replaced them with same people from the same Geo political zone, but Buhari's case is different...


Buhari no send send APC or carry party matter for head... How many times have you seen him intervening in APC leadership crisis unlike other presidents?

One question I want to ask all this APC governors going to supreme court is where are they when ASUU went on long term strike? Where are they when fuel scarcity dey? Why didn't dey speak up? because it didn't affect them that's why they went mute, but now New naira policy have come to stay all of them start to they wail, reason because dey have embezzle the future of our next generation and have them stacked somewhere in their abode. Mr Buba Galadima said it all that a sitting governor kept 22 billion naira right inside his home and nothing is bn done about it, so imagine how will such governor support New naira redesign policy? Mr president have exposed them and that's why all of them are crying foul.

For the scarcity I know for sure that some notorious bank managers have swapped the New naira note for politicians and top business men and women, while the few are kept either for the masses or probably for dubious reasons known to them but God in his infinite mercy will give us Peter Obi and end this madness going on in Nigeria
