These fact checkers are also wrong.

You don't use statistics from a site to say another statistics is false... because most times, they are estimates.

Statista's figures usually differ from that of NHS, for example, by a margin. Does it mean either are wrong? No!

And from what I read, most of what he said are actually correct. The margin from his estimate to the approximation by Statista is not far.

Anyone calling a mistake in detailing statistics a lie has been living a lie all their lives. Why? You don't know the difference between a lie and a mistake...so you are a mistaken lie!

Put in context, everything he said is correct.

If he said Netherlands’ total export for 2021 was $120 billion and it happens it was actually $130.7 billion, THIS ONLY AMPLIFIES THE POINT HE WAS MAKING THAT NETHERLAND ARE MAKING SO MUCH FROM AGRICULTURE

All these mistakes, albeit infinitesimal, are because, he doesn't read from a prepared text like other candidates do. We'll like to see Tinubu and Atiku reel out statistics like this with 20% accuracy

As usual. Useless statistics that don't mirror the realities on ground. Unemployment is 5% in Kenya but online every single day there are thousands of Kenyas posting on social media about an unemployment crisis, tons of article about rural to urban migration due to unemployment , lack of farm produce, drought, escalation of cross border crime exercebating unemployment and migration , hundreds of thousands of graduates unemployed but nope the Oluaye of Statistics as told us Kenya has 5% unemployment so everything is good.

Even Nurses and doctors are looking to move out of Kenya. Had lots of Kenyas come in for secondment in my previous workplace and a lot of them asked to be retained by the Nigerian arm and didn't want to go back to Kenya.. But as usual, he googled numbers and just reels out useless statistics. How does that statistic help Nigeria? Or Provide jobs? Or solve the usual problems we have? Nothing on that end.

The issue is not to mirror the problems the country is facing but how do you solve them. Peter Obi can not solve them alone neither will others but I expect him to give a professional direction on how he will do things differently from the old ways.

In that interview, it was clear the direction Atiku and Tinubu will go but it wasn't clear enough the direction he wants to go in solving this mirage problem we are facing.

Atiku believed that he will solve it via capitalist tendencies which will take corporate burdens from the "neck" of the federal government and encourage investment through private investment

Tinubu spoke more of effective and efficient corporate governance that yields productivity which will be driven by commodity exchange

Peter Obi believed that the laws are not the problem but the implementation of the laws and policies. He alluded that the economy will be driven via SMEs.

The choice is ours to vote based on what they are good at. All of them are correct but what does the country need going to the next election?

A lot of the things that you fact checked as false are from your mistake as you failed to recognise the word 'almost' as an approximation or a similar word.

I remember the days of Biafran Secret Service and Ipob Bureau of Statistics.
That was when Kanu was referred to as the Supreme Leader, Nwachineke (Son of God), then they referred to Buhari as Jubril of Sudan.

That was when dumb pigs were organising rallies in support of Donald Trump. When pigs said Kanu wants to buy nuclear missiles to destroy Nigeria.

Today, Igbos are begging Jubril of Sudan not to release Kanu. grin

When this fairly used PDP product called Peter Obi loses, he will decamp to PDP and his misguided followers will abandon Kanu and look for another fool to follow, most likely Ekpa.
Do you know that me and you are the fairly used? Every 4 years politicians come to take our votes and after then make us to suffer and suffer and grasp for life. Young man, we are the fairly used. They are here this year and here you are, insulting your fellow brother. Kai, fairly useless no dey get sense

CLAIM 8: “Nigeria’s total export in 2021 was N18.9trn.”

VERDICT: True.

Export data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) revealed that in 2021, the country’s total export stood at $46.69 billion, an increase from $35.9 billion recorded in the previous year.

TheCable also analysed NBS data on foreign trade which revealed that Nigeria’s exports were valued at N18.9 trillion in 2021, equivalent to $47.3 billion going by the average official exchange rate of N399.6 in 2021.

President Buhari has done well.
