Microsoft Owned Linkedin Lay Off Employees Among The Recruitment Team by GabrielHub: 11:00pm On Feb 17, 2023
Layoff among tech companies since 2022 has found its way into the Microsoft-owned company LinkedIn. The employment social media platform is said to have fired its employees from the recruitment department. Remember that Microsoft made a decision to lay off 10,000 employees, and the decision has made its way into LinkedIn and Microsoft's Cloud Services Sales Department.

Why did LinkedIn lay off its staff?
Social media and employment organization LinkedIn is now in the news of the latest Layoff among the tech giants. The reason for the dismissal is because of the decision made by Microsoft to lay off thousands of employees. Also, reports have it that Microsoft shut down its industrial Metaverse Core Team it created some months ago, which resulted in the layoffs of 100 individuals.

LinkedIn layoffs surprised much staff because there was no sign of dismissal in the company. Indeed, they would not also see that coming because of the words of LinkedIn's CEO that they are not going to lay off anyone. It is worth noting that there was no official statement from LinkedIn about this mass Layoff, and we still await that.
