Key Points From The Businessng Presidential Election poll by ShadowCracker(m): 1:38pm On Feb 21, 2023
This is an 8 month poll spread across 20 states, 165 LGA, with a sample population of 3,123,660 respondents through a telephone conversation.

Disregarding precedence, whoever wins Kano , Rivers, and Lagos would not necessarily win the election.
--------------------------------------------------------------
It is generally widely accepted that to win a presidential election in Nigeria, you have to win either all or at least two-third of the these states, but this might be changing.

In Lagos it is very close between the Labour Party & the All progressive Congress, with the People's democratic party set to miss out on the required 25 % of the votes.

In Kano it is a three way contest of Nnpp, Pdp and Apc in the descending order of voter's preference.

While in Rivers, it is looking the Pdp will win with a decent margin while the latter of Labour Party and the All progressive Congress will all meet the 25 % required votes.

--------------------------------------------------------------
As it stands Atiku Abubakar of the People'sdemocratic party is set to win.

According to analysis in over 30 states where there is an alternative to either of the Apc or the Lp, the PDP is the second choice with over 25% of the voters preference in the 30 states + FCT.

With total analysis of the votes, PDP will 38% of the voters preference, Apc with 29 % of the voters preference and Lp with 27% of the voters preference, while Nnpp lagging of massively at 5%.

--------------------------------------------------------------
The outcome of the election could well be influenced by external factors.

With just 40% of the respondents sure that their position of the choice of candidate is final, a lot of can still influenced. Three out of ten believe vote buying will influence their choice, while remainder await opinions, and guidance from religious leaders, family, and friends.

From January of 2023 Apc has had a gradual decline in vote due to the naira and fuel crisis and it is still going to increase with the undecided voters favouring towards Atiku.

It is left to see if the Fuel crisis will also affect the mobilisation of Inec and the election materials towards the voting centres as this would affect the votes in some areas.
