And Nigerian-Americans and Nigerians in America dont support eachother like other cultural groups. For example, when Arabs Move to the United States they start businesses and employ other men from their Arab nations, however Nigerians in America dont employ eachother or attempt to build business relationships with other Nigerians to support eachother economically.

The reason is very simple.

Since 1960, we've not been opportuned to have a leader to build a Nigerian state.

So, in diaspora, there's nothing to bind them together.

Watch out in the next 1yr, the kind of bond you'll find among Nigerians will be unprecedented.

In the link the guy is saying Akatas don't have unity and don't help each other. Who got together for the Civil Rights Movement? ... who got together for the Black Lives Matter? ... he doesn't know what he's talking about..
Nigerians do not get along together with themselves nor with Akatas. How can we when we are raised in tribal and religious bigotry?... does it just disappear with migration? The ones born in the US would have some of it passed down by their parents but to the core they will be Americans. Those born and raised in the US are not likely to marry one in Nigeria .... culture clash. Neither would they hook up with another also born in the US because of family involvement.... traditions must be maintained. [i]We cannot allow our unibersity graduate neice to marry a mechanic ... God forbid./i]
On supporting each other economically.... like the Arabs and Chinese and Lebanese ..... sharp practice is in our DNA .... we don't trust each other.
