How are the Igbo people the most tribalistic citizens when the Yoruba and tribalism are like 5 and 6
Common man,Obi is doing well in SW especially Lagos, meaning Yoruba people are very liberal, just check out Osun election,Atiku nailed it against Tinubu,Obi defeated Tinubu in Ikeja LGA and you are saying SW people are tribal. If you want to go by tribal coloration then you should question yourself, why no other candidates winning any LGA in SE apart from Obi.

Na today , igbos votes massively for obasanjo, igbos also vote massively for Jonathan, Igbos are always ready to vote for any good candidates
Obasanjo you voted for was against Yoruba interest at that time because yorubas wanted olufalae. You had no other option, that's what forced you to vote obasanjo. Always help others to acheive their aims so you can water ground for your own future ambition too.

That doesn't justify the Igbo people to be the most tribalistic citizens, everything was based on the people's choice.

Don’t be silly dude.
Obasanjo and Falae were offered slots from the main parties to contest in 1999.Both are Yorubas.
Then Yar’ardua and Buhari contested from the two leading parties. Both Hausa Fulanis.
So, this time around, why can’t they in the spirit for fairness give the slots of the leading political parties to Ndigbo?.
Stop claiming Igbo because you are none.
boss, I know what happened in 1999 and the fact that the founding fathers of PDP that gave the slot to the two yorubas are igbos, but there have been a disruption with the emergence of APC in 2015. So, there have been many events that will not make that rotation happen this time that the igbos themselves rejected APC from unset. Our political investment is in PDP and they would have given the ticket to an Igbo man but did other igbos in the party stood in one accord? No. Even Wike who is very close to the igbos has to play his own personal game.

Aside, look at how El rufai fought for Tinubu when they planned to give the ticket to another person. Did other South East PDP governors fight for their rights when Wike was trying to scheme the south east out? None was vocal.
So, my point is that since many events haven taken place, we should have remained in PDP work for Atiku's Emergence then grab the presidency after him with his Northern popularity. Rather we are here clamoring for a better Nigeria which No other region believes in.

Note: I am fully Igbo gentleman from Nsukka. The attached picture is result from my PU.

How ironic it is that your username looks like Spartan king , now you should go and study the Spartans and how their civilization ended because they couldnt make alliances with their fellow Greeks.
Well Tinubu is more intelligent than thinking of annihilating the Igbos or chasing them out of Lagos. You're just the paranoid one .
And it's funny y'all still can't see that the leaders of Lagos are the ones calming the tension of Yorubas considering the over bearing attitude from the Igbos in Lagos yet you still blame your protector.
Tell your brother to stop opening threads up and down because he is acting like a paranoid one.

it all boils down to trust n perception

Igbos are not trusted n d north see them as enemies no thanks to nnamdi kanu n how u igbos echoed everything he said

They prefer to work with d Yorubas they trust that the igbos with vile n uncouth utterances

If u lose n still going back to calling Nigeria a zoo u can’t get anything, even if u lose restrategize, try to form alliance with d north, work with kwankwanso even if it will b as vp first

Imagine if peter obi n kwankwanso worked together n obi is vp

Reason I said obi should b vp is cos majority of northerners don’t trust igbos to vote them as president for now

Check d northern results n u will see that obi is non existent
Kwankaso is just a light weight compare to Atiku. Atiku did better than him both in south and in some part of north. There is no harm in trying, Obi has tried his best and learned his lesson on how to strategies better. Assuming the three parties (pdp, nnpp and LP) merge together, APC would have been on the mud now. It is not easy to bring down ruling party because they control inec, judiciary and the police including military, sentiment apart the election was massively rigged.

Hope you are ready for the next 8 years of apc. The suffering coming will make the present buhari administration look like a rehearsal.

Una think say na Igbo una dey do. Shey na the same Nigeria we dey. The same economy.

Hear me loud. Tinubu cannot do worst than buhari. Highest he will do is to not give our people political appointment in his government or not doing any Federal project in the South East maybe as form of punishment for not voting for him.

Las Las , Na Nigeria as a whole including you that will suffer in his bad leadership and governance.

The first lesson my brothers should learn is that you don't play politics with emotions. Politics is a war and all the contestant use everything in their disposal to fight it.

The only way for an Igbo man to grab that presidential power is through alignment with other people, but will that happen when we abuse others? No.

If Tinubu becomes president today, El rufai will start nursing the idea of contesting after him because he played a major role in making Tinubu a president.

However, when it comes to my igbo brothers forming alliance with others, our bad mouth will distroy everything.

No body is clean in politics! It is all about personal interest and game of numbers.

I would have loved the outcome of this election if we "the igbos" would have voted en mass for a much popular candidate. At least, when the person wins, we will have hope of getting presidency one day.

We voted against the two major parties which means we may wail for another 4 years undecided
U have a point, even though i am not an Igbo. If i were Peter Obi, i would begin as a Vice President to a winning or powerful party like APC or PDP presidential candidate, then gradually move for presidential candidate. The northerners have great influence in Politics. Politics no be gra, gra, na sense. U have to wisely and carefully work with the men at the top to get to the top. Goodluck Jonathan and Prof. Osibanjo blew up their chances because they misunderstood these, that was why they were dumped. Na Osibanjo own nai even worse past because he never sat in that position. He was dragging position with his master Tinubu. He got kicked out. I doubt, if he would be given a 2nd chance. I just hope things go well for Peter Obi because the northerners have greater influence as long as politics is concerned.

Well, the truth is, you have to understand how Nigerians think and strategies towards it. An Igbo was not going to be Nigeria's president in its current state.. I long predicted it. The best option would have been through Atiku as a VP, not Peter Obi. The average northerner would never vote for an Igbo man to be the president in its present state. The average Nigerian is a tribalist, that is the truth,

you no get brain at all, what other political alliance do you expect from Igbo, Igbo voted massively for GEJ, and throughout the campaign, did GEJ endorse Obi?
What about Wike attitude? what stops INEC from conducting a free and fair election? You want to tell me that election is all about apportioning votes to individuals?

Lets hear word! You people that think that everything in life is about who wins elections. A Fulani man called Buhari, and his Yoruba running mate, Yemi Osibanjo, grabbed power in 2015. Look at the table below and go and ask any Fulani or Yoruba what they benefited from that

Good that some of you are seeing beyond your nose now.

I know many will still disagree with you, and continue from where they stop before the election.

Obi lost because he wouldn't get the required vote from the North, and he wouldn't get those votes because of all the bridges, him, and his fellow Igbos burnt over the years.

All the attacks, insults etc on Northerners over the years without reprisal, you think the North doesn't know what they are doing?? They are simply waiting at the Polls..

Tinubu is a no no

Atiku is a million times better

That we supported Peter Obi is not a bad thing

At least labour party is cleansing the evil PDP politicians in South East we were begging PDP to remove which them no gree

Many of them are losing woefully gburugburu, okezie ikpeazu, uche ekwunife etc

Just continue deceiving yourself. Pdp that was the ruling party then was a party Igbos supported, yet pdp didn't think of zoning president or vice to southeast. My take is that 1) the election was rigged 2) the last thing northerners will do is to give Igbos the opportunity to rule because they think that Igbos will divide this country. Not that Tinubu has the best strategy for him to get good vote in the north, it is because the north feels save to a Yoruba man than south south and southeast.

PDP with Atiku gave the Vice to the SE (Peter Obi) and now A SS man a chance though.

El rufai should forget that idea.....igbos has been advised on this same thing in 2015. What I learnt from tinubu, atiku and Ibrahim babangida is their ability to influence others and get loyalty from them. It takes years to do it. They raised many people in Nigeria that are 100% loyal to them and you will never know the people.

We have good politicians but they have not master the game of politics in Nigeria. The leader that will uplift NIGERIA will come.....
