These are traditional PDP votes that obi cannibalised. Peter Obi is Tinubu's greatest asset.

So Obi doesn't have the right to run for President?

You, and your paymaster are the Omo ale jatijati, Omo alainiran, ole agbewiri.

I encourage you and your ilks who are indebted to Tinubu to repay him with your souls, not with everyone's. If you are indeed keen about voting a Yoruba whose descent you could trace, Kola Abiola etc were on the ballot.

Are you more Yoruba than Obasanjo, Papa Adebanjo, and millions of Yoruba across the world who have chosen not to support a certified criminal, who is both unhealthy and renowned for converting commonwealth to private enterprise?

Your principal, Tinubu does not represent the collective choice of the Yoruba race. And hey, it's a democracy!

This is a good result for APC in Plateau. Scoring more votes than Atiku and getting well above 25% is all we want. Thank you Plateau 🙏.

So it is a good result that APC lost the state of a sitting Governor who is also her campaign DG to a structureless party.

What a shame!

I voted in plateau....
I am not a supporter of PO.
My Pastor can't tell me who to vote for.
My wife and I gave our votes to Jagaban.

So relax.
You are off point my guy .
Nobody was talking about who voted and for who.
I am not against you for voting for a candidate of your choice just as I don't expect anybody to be against me for voting for candidate of my own choice.I voted for Obi,so any other person can vote for Tinubu,Atiku,Sowore,Kwankwaso or any other candidates of his/her choice.
Even in my state here in SS region,a lot of people voted for Tinubu and I am not against that cos that is the beauty of democracy......
Freedom of choice!

But the point I was trying to raise is this, someone who won in only 3 LGAs and someone who won in 11 LGAs, there's supposed to be a wider margin but this is not the case here and so it calls for concern.
Mind you, those 11 LGAs include the LGA of the state capital and other urban areas.Meaning that their voting strength is high as compared to rural areas.
So how come four hundred and three hundred of a thing.
That's the mystery I want you to unravel and not who you voted for.

Exactly how PDP and APC governors canvassed for their parties in the SE right? You guys keep forgetting that no governor can tell his people to vote for a particular candidate. Common, even voters can vote out their governor if they do not perform. So liasing and canvassing can never change people's mind. Only performance and credibility does.
ProphetM0hammad:

What are the factors that determine the strongholds?
APC have governors all over the country who will laise with LG chairmen and stakeholders and canvas votes for their candidates
APC is not a newborn party

The same way you believe Obi is the best is the same way others believe Tinubu is the best

An Osu is someone supporting a 82 years old demented man that urinates on himself to be president because of bigotry.

Plateau people have proven they are not Osu. The great Osun people also prove they are not Osu.

Hence if you like continue disgracing yourself .

If politics is all about performance and credibility, then politics will be simpler than this.

Then it means someone like Obi who was below average as a governor won't even get anything tangible in this kind of election.

There's an old thread of more than 30 pages from ten years ago on Nairaland where Anambra people were lamenting and cursing Obi. But today same people want him to be president, why?

Politics is deeper than performance and credibility.

The video of an elderly man that was beaten up in Anambra cos he wanted to vote APC is still online

LOL

1.Plateau has suffered a lot from fulani herdsmen and a host of other issues. And APC has taken a lot of the blame since an APC man is in overall charge of security (His name begins with the letter M ),

2.Angry Christian vote actively courted by Obi.

3.Defections from PDP to LP

It was not rigged. You guys should stop crying. Plateau was never going for APC.

Tinubu is 100% better than clueless Obi. He has th better chance of taking Nigeria and o the promise Land. Obi can't even see himself not to talk to leading Nigeria.

Can you tell me why you think Obi is better than Tinubu? They were both past governors and politically relevant. Can you just state the reason you think Obi is better

Depending on the data. If you won in 11 lgas doesn't mean others didn't have votes as well. If you lead with just 1 vote, you are the winner. So, your analysis didn't hold any water. What was the margin between Obi and Tinubu in the LGAs won? That should be your concern
