You don't have to worry about anything.
Lagos is a safe state too.

The farther u stay from the office, the cheaper the accommodation.
Your salary cannot survive staying around ikoyi even if it is 500k

For proper advise, how much is the salary?
To save cost, consider getting an apartment around obalende to iyana owonro... rather than on the island

I think it actually the the opposite, when you factor in the transportation, feeding and stress of living so far away from work. Not to talk about the amount of time (which is a literally a percentage of your life) you waste on the road in traffic daily. That's my opinion though.

Houses around that side is from #700k above for a roomself con been the first year

So it depends, you can get apartments in locations in highly congested Lagos Island, Obalende, CMS, Adeniji, Tinubu campos areas that will just be a #500 to and fro from Ikoyi or you consider places on mainland with proximity to Ikoyi like Ebutte Metta and Yaba.

The choice is yours. Just budget about 400-500k for your self con ( 800k for total package) sha.

alright, you can stay on the island from ajah downwards... but your tfare daily and traffic will be the issue. You'll have to get use to leaving home latest by 6/6:30am

OP...take this advice especially Ebute Metta and Yaba then Surulere.....if you can get a shared apartment it will be better. Don't go and stay on the island, Ajah or after Ajah o, you will just be frustrated, the traffic is overwhelming.
