Ghanaians used to use this word, Nigerians aren't civilized, when we discussed with them those days in Ghana. Many of them were those who lived in Nigeria and returned home. I used to feel insulted whenever they made such derogatory statements. But what I am seeing now is making me to feel they may have been right after all. How could one be celebrating that your government rigged in your preferred candidate despite numerous evidences that the results were altered? How would one celebrate and wish the old order continued with the country being run aground whereas other smaller African countries are moving ahead? Na wa o! I am bold to tell you that this sort of election and the blatant rigging can never take place in Ghana, South Africa, Kenya etc in this modern age whereas some Nigerians are already celebrating a victory flawed with malpractices.
