Dear Obidients, Congratulations To US. We Fought A Great Fight by Eriokanmi: 9:22am On Feb 28, 2023
Dear Obidients. We fought a good fight , even though we were rigged out. I'm happy some urchins who had conscience had also admitted to this fact. Only LP didn't rig elections in their favour. We came out willingly, spent our own money to mibilize and campaign instead of being induced by our leaders. A structurless party who came together in less than 6 months for a common cause and performed so well, winning many senate and house of assembly's seats nationwide, even defeating the rulling and opposition parties in many states. We shall have a mixed assembly this time as I once predicted, this is good for our democracy. There won't be dominance as usual by a particular party.

Personally, I achieved my aim of joining the Labour Party from the APC where i was once deeply rooted. I joined APC back then cos of Buhari's antecedents but I didn't see that change I was expecting. I chose to join LP not because obi is a Christian or from another tribe, nor because i needed a position or influence. I'm comfortable and I thank God for that. but because I liked Obi's ideas. He's also not a thief, unlike our politicians being celebrated today. Someone like him will do well in any progressive-minded country. INEC is a huge disappointment for not walking their talk on free, fair and credible elections, by allowing political riggers to have their way , using the loopholes created by them at the various polling units.

I told my people we'd deliver Lagos for the LP and we achieved that....that's one of my aims. Urchins have been calling me all manner of names since the inception of the electioneering campaigns cos of my stance on Obi but I don't care. Anyone of them who thinks only Igbos voted Tinubu out in Lagos needs to visit a psychiatrist. They need to come to Alimosho LG which is the largest in Lagos and the entire country in population and count the number of igbos there. We're 98% yorubas. Let urchins start by killing the Yorubas there who voted out Tinubu first before going to igbo dominanted areas and see our wrath. Lagosians had spoken, not a particular tribe. I know that isn't gonna happen, its a mere chest-beating from urchins.

That said, I'd urge obidients to remain calm and not take the law into their own hands. We're a much more civilised and sane people. We should allow the law to take its course. Most of us as we all know, are not poor as I've met with a large number of us in the course of this journey. We're also professional to the core and we benefit nothing from the Fed or state govt rather, they take from us in taxes. 99% of us don't even have Obi's contact , let alone meeting with him physically. We only want the best for our dear country. We were rigged out but its fine. If a presidential aspirant could lose his home states ( both osun and Lagos) , then his integrity and that of the elections in places where he had won is questionable. Charity begins at home, they say and that means a lot on the integrity of this election. We don't want to talk of the proofs in our hands. We shall meet at the court.

Dear Obidients, please get back to work and allow urchins enjoy their victory while it lasts. If anyone complains of bad governance here, I'd just turn a deaf hear. Everybody will face the consequences of their choices. A vote for Tinubu is a vote for nepotism and failure of the apc cos tinubu alone can't govern under apc. Nigeria is bigger than lagos where you can do some things and get away with it. We'd continue to support our dear country by being law-abiding and exercising our rights by way of paying our taxes and doing our country proud.

To all the religious bigots who thought only Christians voted Obi, Alimosho LG has the highest number of Muslims in Lagos. Anyone who also thinks the majority of those who voted Tinubu are Muslims should go to Ondo, Ekiti and Ogun and count how many Muslims live there, Benue and other places too, including the south east and south south where they won senate seats. People should shun religous and tribal bigotry. Democracy is about choices and we'd all reap the consequences of it.

The struggle continues. We will come back much stronger. Congrats to all the obidients.

God bless Nigeria.

I am super proud of Obi. Obi did what other politicians with load of money and the so called evil structure couldn't do and he did it less than nine months to election with a party that isn't popular. My only regret is why I didn't purchase LP form before the window closed! And to all those mocking him, Obi isn't a poor man. He can afford whatever he wants. You are the ones who missed him. Obi na man you be.

I'm super proud of Obi. He did great. I have never ever voted in Nigerian elections, but because of Obi, I went to get my PVC.

During the course of result collation, I witnessed all the magomago of INEC, I was like should I throwaway my PVC, but nahhhhh.... we keep fighting for a better country.

I'm officially joining Labour Party now.

Almost all technocrats voted Obi irrespective of tribe and religion.

We move.

This is pure open daylight robbery

The youths are coming for them

It will happen so fast that they will not be able to escape

Massive Nationwide riots loading

Just wait for INEC to announce the results

220,000,000 people and how many soldiers do we have in the arm forces less than 5,000,000.

The security forces can NEVER crush over 220,000,000 Nigerians

Let that sink
