Now that both APC and PDP failed to secure 25% votes in fct leaving only LP to get the said requirement. What will happen next?

To those saying a rerun will take place, which party will be considered?

Does it means that if a particular candidate wins the whole nigeria but failed to secure 25% in fct will not be declared winner?

Now lets say obi come a distant third behind Tinubu(1st) and Atiku(2nd) but wins fct 100%

Will he be paired with the first position for the rerun leaving out the 2nd person that scored the highest votes?

If we are to consider the first and second position for the rerun, both did not get the said 25% in fct, so what will happen in such situation.

That law can be argued but the implication of it will be too much for the courts to explain in my honest opinion

Go read section 299 of the constitution

The law says a candidate needs to win 25% in at least 24 of the ( 36 States + FCT), which is 2/3. So, getting 25% in FCT is same as getting 25% in any other state.

Is Abuja a state?

Having 25% in Abuja is a Plus but not Mandatory as long you can get it elsewhere

Let’s forge ahead already. What we should be doing now is to pray for the incoming government and ask God to direct them well. It is well

I wonder why people deliberately becomes an ignorant of the law? 25% in FCT is the same thing as in any other state and meanwhile if you have 25% from 26 state and your opposition manage to pull more numbers than you (Overall) INEC would declare him the winner. So people should try to understand the law first before using wrong interpretation as foundation of there believe.
