In 2015,total votes cast was 28 million.

In 2019, it was 26 million.

Then in 2023, even with the increase in the number of new/first time voters and wide publicity the election received, the total number of vote cast was less than 24 million.


We all saw the massive turn out of voters. So normally the number of votes cast is supposed to be in the region of 32-35 million.

From this observation, it is safe to say that a lot of persons were disenfranchised by systematic manipulations by inec or by physical intimidation by security personnel and political thugs.
