A video of a Nigerian man beating his younger sister mercilessly over her political choice in Nigeria’s presidential election has gained attention online.

It was reported that the young lady voted for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate, Bola Tinubu and it angered her brother who is a supporter of the Labor Party’s Peter Obi.

The angry man learnt that she voted for APC and decided to beat her for going against the family’ preferred candidate.

The part I hate most about this election is believing that you can force a candidate on someone . Myself for example, Obi is not even my second choice and it doesn’t mean everyone should support my own choice. Politics is all about numbers the one with the highest number wins. Let’s stop any form of violence or hate speech and we all have freedom to vote whoever we want.
