I am to give someone 10k cash
I bought the 10k cash for 2k

After having the cash, I gave the person 10k
And now I'm to record it, how much do I record as money that I gave out.

If I say 12k and the person is contacted, he will surely say 10k, and that's true, so where do I record the 2k I used to buy the 10k.

What do I term it.
