Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has denied being in alliance with PDP. He made this known during a media briefing in Abuja on Thursday.

Obi expressed his intention to use all legal and peaceful means to challenge the results that brought Bola Tinubu of the APC as the President-elect.

He lamented the sharp reduction in the number of voters in the 2023 election. And he attributed it to voter apathy.

Despite an increase in the number of registered voters and persons who collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in 2023, Obi disclosed that the number of voters had reduced by 20%. And this is compared to the previous election.

Also, he called on Nigerians to participate actively in the democratic process. And he urged the government to do more to ensure free, fair, and credible elections in the future.
