The federal government spent several billions to procure the BVAS and even ammended the electoral act to accomodate it. On several occasions, the INEC Chairman, Mahmud, gave a press conference on the need to use the BVAS in this election and abhor the manual collation used in the past. We all know what happened eventually. If Mahmud, the INEC Chairman, was a manager of a reputable company and this scenario played out in the company under his control, would he be fired? |
