They have Governorship Candidates in some States, in my State, Akwa Ibom, the most popular candidate is YPP candidate, Senator Bassey Albert, he left PDP as he was denied ticket, he propagates the Party in the State to become the fastest growing party in the State, overtaking the APC as the Strongest & the most formidable Opposition to PDP.

Senator OBA as he is fondly called, has set up LGAs/Wards offices of YPP to take the party closer to the People in the rural & hinterlands, I can tell you that the party is well recognized now with its Fresh Green Leaves Logo as well as its SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE slogan. The current Gov. Udom is having sleepless nights cos of the Senator and the Party cos lots of people in PDP have decamped to the party.

The party collaborated with APC to deliver former Governor, Godswill Akpabio to win the Senatorial seat, Senator OBA's campaign Chairman is Godswill Akpabio's elder brother, Sir Emem Akpabio brokered the deal in that Senatorial District. YPP diehard Supporters+APC &YPP Senatorial candidate stepped down as well to ensure Akpabio his former Boss is elected.
