Finland Japa is the dream but money remains the obstacle embarassed , I got an 80% tuition scholarship to study at Abo akademi university for my masters program, but the 2400 euros balance is still high, approximately 3.4million naira, combined with the other stuff, like proof of funds, flight ticket, it's just frustrating. cry cry

Wow 80% is a whole lot, I pray you find help.

Hello sir.. you advised me on this last year and I got married to my Belgian spouse around November last year. She went back and got everything in order and I’ll love to start my application this month. Sir I’ll so much appreciate it if you can advise me on how to apply under directive 2004/ex/58.
Thank you very much
pansophist:

It would be hard, but visiting her is easy.

But If you will like to visit her, I can advise you on how to get a visa under "directive 2004/ec/58", without paying anything, except for Uber when you go to submit and pick your visa after two weeks,

but that's only if you guys are truly married or for those that have other kinds of relationship with Europeans (eg parents and kids).

What's the essence of applying when the degree course is strictly online? Imagine paying €4K for the course.
Re: Finland Japa by biggal: 8:02pm On Apr 29
That online thing is painting me so much

It's not possible for tuition to be free and still get relocation assistance for a bachelors degree. Just budget like 4k euros for early bird tuition discount/scholarship if dem too try and your POF of like 7k euros

Has anyone been able to
1)apply
2) request and get the transcript
Re: Finland Japa by oby333: 7:38pm On May 02
I sent a request for my transcript through email they opened a ticket and asked that I should be checking the status of the request. I have not applied yet. If they will reconsider and make it on campus studies ,even though we apply July . It is better but if they insist on this E campus stuff na to consider other cheaper countries like Italy and Portugal at least 4k euro fit get small change.

@Pansophist, I tried reaching out through mail.

I wanted to ask, a Nigerian above 40 with relatives or Mother in the UK(British Citizen), how can he migrate?

If he has 3years + in Italy as a kid and now wants to go back for a Study program(Master's) in any Institution in Italy, what are the chances or opportunities you can advice?

Thanks in anticipation.

If none of the kids are Italians or have an Italian residence permit that is permanent, then there is no immigration route through that place for the parents.

Since the UK left the EU, immigration to the UK has been greatly affected, because it means that the UK can now strictly control who enters their country, unlike EU countries where the EU commission designs their immigration law.

So it would have been as easy if the 40-year-old man moved to the UK before Brexit, and would qualify for family reunification through the EU immigration route (Directive 2004/58/EC), which allows dependent adult children to join their parents.

EU countries are bound by the above directive, but not the UK since they left. If you have other families with EU citizenship, then you are a privileged class, moving to Europe becomes very easy and free of charge.

Thanks for the response.

What about studying for Master's degree in Italy, having stayed 3yrs+ previously in Italy, any advantage?

Hello

Good morning

Hi

Please I requested for my transcript to enable apply for the separate application.but I am yet to get a response

It's under investigation how LAB does this. You will be informed by email. But don't worry about application time. This will be separate process.

Ok thank you.

Please I have another question

Ok

Why was the golab support website brought down. Where lab promised to offer immigration assistance and talked more about what happens after the pathway studies.

Because things have been changed during the way. Things are not going in the way the was originally planned. That's why some info has been outdated.

LAB Support -Today, 8:45

We are now waiting official info.

And students will be informed.

The program is a nice one and students like me were looking forward to jump start a new career in SSE I was a kind of disappointed upon learning I will no longer be given an opportunity to be physically take clases in finland..Will the officials reconsider ??

You may be misinterpreting things a little. The path studies were meant to be online. And after that, if you want to, you can apply to LAB as a graduate student. No one has said to my knowledge that you cannot still apply.

How to apply and how to make use of the pathway studies is what LAB is currently working on.

Ok that you for the clarification I guess alot of students are also as confused as I am. Thank you so much as I await more information

Why you think you can't apply?

Has somebody said that there will be no opportunity to apply to study in Finland

LAB has multiple departments and we don't know what other departments (like admission office) might say to you guys.

No body has actually told me that but I felt since SSE is a degree program done online that I don't have the opportunity to study in finland anymore

Yea, but that is just a one program. It's not the whole story.

Ok. Thanks a lot

POWERED
What do you have to say guys??
Re: Finland Japa by maak400: 1:31pm On May 08
@oby333,
Thanks for the above information. We await their email. They didn't give us adequate information about the program from the start. This goLAB thing is new and they seem to be operating separately from the main admission office of LAB University. I believe they are trying to see how to bring in the pathway students into the degree program, the program is not yet officially part of LAB university. My thoughts.

They said the current admission is not right for us. I also had a chat with them today. I'll say let's all wait for their email and not bother them too much.

Re: Finland Japa by maak400: 1:45pm On May 08
Since they said "But don't worry about application time. This will be separate process.", I want to believe they will find a way for us to apply.
