Some months after the incident at the 94th Academy Awards, Politainment.net reports that Will Smith made an attempt privately to make amends with Chris Rock. But his efforts were unsuccessful.

Smith, who went on to win Best Actor for his performance in “King Richard,” slapped Rock in the face. This was after the comedian made a joke about his wife, “Jada Pinkett Smith’s alopecia”.

Shortly after, Smith resigned from the Academy and was banned from attending any Academy-related events for 10 years.

According to information reaching Politainment.net, Smith, currently feels “terrible” about the incident and has tried to reach out to Rock to make amends.

Will Smith tries to reconcile with Chris Rock. However, despite failing, Smith has focused on growing and processing his emotions with the help of his family.
