According to Ambassador Kechi , even the international observers warned the INEC chairman to halt and investigate the overwhelming evidence that a lot is going on, but he continued firing on and hurriedly announced the winner of the Presidential election. Secondly, the other parties at the collation staged a walk and the INEC Chairman promised to review after collation but he didn't but still hurriedly announced the winner. Thirdly, he the INEC chairman has agreed that they were irregularities due to sabotage by some INEC staff who will be punished. Lastly, he now wants to hurriedly configure the BIVAS machines so as to wipe out all evidence that will indict him for massive wrong doing. the best thing that could happen for the best interest of Nigeria is for that INEC chairman to go to jail, that will set a good example for future reoccurrence. 1 Like |
