The Facebook "Anonymous" Hacktivist Scam !!! by kroger: 4:16pm On Mar 08, 2023
I recently came across a Facebook page named "Anonymous" (Collectives) which identifies itself as a Hacktivist group that exposes corrupt politicians and is also involved in fixing football matches with around 144k followers and counting. Their projections concerning the fate of particular political figures, including the allegation that Bola Tinubu bribed the INEC chairman and that the INEC office was about to be burned, drew my attention.

Furthermore, I monitored their recommendations on fixed matches and observed their success with half-time tips. Subsequently, they encouraged others to participate in the upcoming fixed match. After a few days, I took the initiative to contact them via their Facebook Messenger to place a bet on the match scheduled for last Sunday. This was their response

Information on soccer manipulations has been slated for Sunday, it is a twin ticket respectively.
Full ticket has a total of 306.00 odds and costs $. 3,200.
Mini ticket has a total of 115 odds and costs $. 1,200
Both tickets plays Sunday.

In summary i foolishly, stupidly and imprudently played the Mini ticket, money that i would have used to assist nairalanders in need. The game was played and won on Sunday, but when I asked about my payment, I was instructed to provide my email address. However, even after a few hours, I had not received any email and had to inquire again I received an email informing me that I had won, but to obtain my earnings, I had to pay a fee for claiming my profits. It was at this moment that I recognized that I had been scammed. Chai !!!

I revisited their page to review the remarks made by previous winners who had expressed their contentment with the fixed match. I contacted three of them confidentially to inform them about my ordeal and to inquire about their payment procedures. They disclosed that they were part of the Anonymous Telegram group, where they bought game tips and placed the bets themselves. When I requested for the Telegram link, two of them provided the same link, whereas the third gave me the same telegram link that they always post on their page.

At this point i was determined to uncover how they operate. to be continued..

I messaged the Telegram administrator, Admin Sylvester, and narrated my experience and the difficulty I had encountered while trying to claim my profits. He acknowledged that others had faced similar issues but assured me that he would assist me, just as he had helped others. He requested that I pay a fee to subscribe, and I contacted the other Telegram administrator who requested the same thing.

Nonetheless, I had made up my mind to pursue the matter to its conclusion. I informed both administrators that I could only pay 10% of the fee upfront and balance the payment after the win. They provided me with a bitcoin address, and I sent $20 to each of them.

However, the individuals I had initially communicated with on Facebook persisted in asking me whether I had subscribed, and I sensed that they were all complicit in the scheme or that it was the same person controlling all the accounts.

After all done i asked for the Wednesday tips each of them told me to pay another link up fee, this was were i finally draw my conclusion that the anonymous hacktivist group on facebook is a total scam. I also Noticed they are also on nairaland through several of their post referencing nairaland platform. I am sure they would read this post as well.

Additionally, I observed that the individuals whom I had privately contacted were also the same ones consistently commenting on every game, encouraging people to participate. It's apparent that this is a well-planned scam, and I'm amazed at how effectively they have executed it. Despite the growing number of people getting duped daily, with over 144k followers and counting, nothing has been done to expose them.

When I commented about their fraudulent activities, they instantly blocked me. Unfortunately, I was also a victim of their scam, and many others are still falling prey to it. It's high time something was done to unveil them.

Quite unfortunate you allowed yourself to fall a victim. Please learn a lesson and be careful how you venture into online investment. A million and more are fake and the organizers are good in their craft, to make everything look real. Sorry for your loss.

Besides football bettings they, claim to be exposing corrupt government officials in Nigeria and are core Biafra sympathizers.

I wonder how many Biafrans they might have duped?

I expected that after making your payment for the choice of ticket type, they should have issued the ticket to you so you could proceed to book the game on your preferred bookie.

Good thing I came across this post. I have been thinking of subscribing to their football tickets but somehow I was having some doubts.
All the comments celebrating the winnings looked suspicious to me.
Hence, I decided to Google if they are legit

They blocked me when I attacked them and I discovered all those praising them are all in one cycle scamming people.
One guy sent me message that they scammed him over $2000 and till now they have not given him any game to play.

The most funny part is, when you check the profile of those sharing testimony, you will notice the Facebook page is not up to 2months. Nor wonder some people are looking for those to sell their Facebook page so they use it to scam others. Tufiakwa...
