The campaign team of lawmaker that represents Akuku-Toru Constituency 2, Hon. Lolo Opuende Isaiah, came under attack during his Oceania PDP village-to-village campaign in the Oceania communities in Akuku-Toru LGA, Rivers State

Speaking to Niger Delta Insider, Hon. Lolo Isaiah Opuende said 14 gunmen in two speed boats attempted to disrupt his campaign and also kidnap him in Oluapoku community close to Kula.

"After evading the gunmen, we still had a fruitful campaign in Elaija-kiri Community, Kula Kingdom. We cannot be intimidated, its PDP all the way"

"Their antics were not sufficient to stop the Sim Fubara and Lolo Opuende gospel from reaching the Oceania people"
