Why Obi Had ‘Sweeping Victory’ In South-South, South-East - Okowa by TheDemola: 5:55pm On Mar 13, 2023
The vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ifeanyi Okowa, has said that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, leveraged on a lot of factors to garner sweeping victory in the South-South and South-East geopolitical zones in the February 25 presidential election.

Okowa, who is also the governor of Delta State, said this on Monday in Asaba while reacting to the outcome of the February 25 presidential election.

He said, “A lot of factors contributed to the sweeping victory of Obi in South-South and South-East.

The agitation that the presidency should come to the southern part of the country, religion and Igbo presidency are key factors.

"Obidients movement is a movement that swept across the South-South and South-East. The people wanted Obi as a change. They believed it is turn of South-East.

“I believe that people have exercised their rights in a democratic process but INEC did not follow Electoral Act”.

On whether he has been in talks with former Governor James Ibori over affairs of the PDP in the state, Okowa said, “It is private for us as politicians and I can’t disclose our discussions to you.”

On Ibori supporting the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Okowa said, “For him to support the APC candidate, it is his choice.”

Okowa stated that he stands for Sheriff Oborevwori who emerged from a democratic process of the PDP primary.

He explained that he had fulfilled the promises made to Deltans in 2015, noting that over 2,000 kilometres of road and over 1,000 km of drainages had been constructed across the state including in the riverine areas.

“Continuity is something that works in Delta, so if I cannot finish them, I believe the incoming administration will continue where I stopped.

“It is unfortunate that everybody is aspiring to be governor of the state and keep lying to Deltans. Today, Omo-Agege is sitting at the floor of the House approving loans for FG.

“He does not have the moral justification to accuse my administration. Every loan we collected followed due process and was tied to projects,” Okowa added

While PODATTI was traversing the length and breadth of our country meeting with Nigerians, attending all manners of invites , interviews and giving Nigerians hope of a new Nigeria, other candidates were forming big men, godfathers and untouchable. Some blantly refused to speak to Nigerians when invited.

Nigerians bought the vision of PODATTI, came out in massive numbers and casted their votes. Only for the fraudulent faction of INEC and fraudulent politicians to steal our hope.

cool

Okowa is the biggest southern fool

Southern Governors came to Asaba to agree that power must shift to South after duly completion of Northern 8 years

APC Governors went to lobby the support of Northern APC Governors

Okowa and Udom went to meet Atiku in Dubai, agreed to Northern Presidency if Atiku make one of the SouthSouth Governors Vice

Okowa took countless meaningless loans to support his pipe dream

Now consiquences of his actions

SouthSouth SouthEast didn't get PDP ticket

Christian isn't the President or the Vice since it it was South vs North

Ok.. But all I have ever craved and prayed for is a Nigeria where the Economy can so robust and prosperous. Where insecurity can be totally eradicated, poverty alleviated, where unemployed Nigerians can get good jobs without knowing anybody that knows somebody that knows someone.
I know what I am going through at the moment. If I survive, thank Goodness.

Sweeping victory my ass! Massive riggings with the intimidation of voters who wanted to vote other parties other than LP.
If Obi's votes from the south east has to be made to pass through integrity test, he won't have one million votes left.

"I believe that people have exercised their rights in a democratic process but INEC did not follow Electoral Act”. ---- Gov Okowa.

Exactly. And the election must be annulled for INEC to follow the Electoral Act to conduct a fresh Presidential and National Assembly elections.
