It seems that 50% of Yoruba politicians and wealthy men either have an Igbo wife or an Igbo mother.

Even Tinubu encouraged his son to marry an Igbo wife.

Hence while some poor Yorubas are threatening that igbos should leave SW region, there leaders and wealthy men are doing everything possible to get an Igbo blood in their family through marriage.
