Yakubu Abdullahi Shehu, a member of the House of Representatives, has been made a wanted person by the Bauchi Police Command.


The politician who represents the federal constituency of Bauchi was also the target of a N1 million bounty set by the security agency. Shehu was elected under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform but then switched to the All Progressives Congress (APC).


On Tuesday, Police Public Relations Officer SP Ahmed Wakil published a Special Police Gazette Bulletin CB: 2685/Bsx/VOL.T/4s. The bulletin claimed the Nigeria Police Force, under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, is hunting for Shehu.
