If you are a Yoruba from Osun,Oyo,Ogun ,Ondo,Ekiti States and you leave your goddamned village to hustle in Lagos you cannot claim ownership of Lagos with the Aworis b/c you are like other Nigerians who came to hustle in Lagos.Go back to your village to claim your inheritance.

Lagos belongs to the Aworis not to the entire Yoruba race . Or can an Awori man go to Abeokuta to claim Olumo Rock just because he is a Yoruba man?

³Lagos belongs to the Aworis and not to all Yorubas . The cry Lagos belongs to the Yorubas is a lazy, envious, evil , frustrated , greedy and idle man's talk .

The owners of Lagos are the Aworis and Edo's .So if you are a YorubaIjesha ,Ijebu ,Egba ,Oyo, ,Ilesha,Ohori ,Ekiti.Oworo.Akoko , Ife man please from today let it be known to you that you are not the owners of Lagos and that you have no claim to Lagos .

Edo ko Ado ni.

The population of Lagos Colony was analysed into 'Yoruba' and 'Non-Yoruba' tribes:

1. Eko tribe had fallen from 57% in 1872 to 23.6% 20 years later.
2. Popo or Egun tribe was 15.85%,

3. Other Yoruba groups
Oyo - 11.6%
Ijebu - 11.01%
Awori - 9.26%
Egba - 6.05%
Ijesha - 4.32%
Egbado - 3.63%
Ekiti/Efon people - 1.76%

4. Non-Yoruba groups
Nupe/Tapa - 1.86%
Hausa - 1.86%
The Kru - 1.37%.

Not even a single south south or Igbo in Lagos about 100 years ago!

The Hausas you met in Lagos are not even shouting, it is now you recent visitors to Lagos that are shouting upandan.

I love how the Hausa in particular are just watching your ignorance. You met them in Lagos! They are older visitors than you in Lagos but will not shout how more influential they are than you. The elite northerner families like the Ribabu ,Yardua etc will be laughing hard at how ignorant you are. They can even lay claim to Lagos more than you.

It is a Yoruba which belong to the Aworis of the Egba Clan. The Edo monarch only fight and conquered theEko Island not to be mistaken for Lagos state as a whole. If you here places like Idumota. Which happens to be an Edo soldier. Idungaran and idumagbo. Those are the territories the Edo conquered by the Aworis. It is a Yoruba state. Not an Igbo state. Stop calling it a no mans land simple. Any Yoruba can claim its still in territory.

Lagos is completely covered by 3 Yoruba state and the Oba later corrected himself the December of that same year the fake news started circulating. The Oba of Lagos has no land in Eko aside his palace.

By the way, the Oba of Lagos is Tinubu's ally and a staunch APC man.

The land owners of Lagos Island are the Idejos who are Aworis Yorubas. Note I said Lagos Island and not Lagos State. Some Idejos below.

And the same migrants from Osun, Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo are the ones carrying it on their heads like Gala saying Igbos should leave 'their' Yoruba Lagos and go back to their Igboland. More like a black British resident telling a fellow African to go back to his continent. Really hilarious

Awori’s and Ijebu came first. Then the Oyo who invited Benin, then the Egba. So, no. Benin do not own Lagos in any way. They were invited to come and use the port as brother’s due to royal kinship with the Ife’s and the Oyo. If there was any war or conquering they would have been butchered and slaughtered.
